OFFICE No. Date ORDER NOTE 01. 17.02.2026 BVLNC,J I.A.No.01 of 2026 Heard learned counsel representing Sri P.Nagendra Reddy, learned counsel for the petitioner/appellant/convict and Sri C.Panini Somayaji, learned Additional Public Prosecutor representing the State. Petitioner is the sole accused in Spl.S.C.No.477 of 2022 on the file of the learned Special Judge for Speedy Trial of Offences under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 , Krishna at Machilipatnam. Learned counsel for the petitioner/appellant would submit that petitioner/convict was found guilty for the offence under Sections 354-A(1)(i) , 354-D & 506 of IPC and Section 11 r/w 12 of POCSO Act, 2012 . Accordingly, he was convicted under Section 235(2) of Cr.P.C. and sentenced to pay a fine of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) in default shall undergo simple imprisonment for a period of two (02) months for the offence under Section 354-A(1)(i) of IPC. Contd., 2 He was also sentenced to undergo simple imprisonment for a period of six (06) months and to pay a fine of Rs.1,000/- (Rupees One Thousand only) in default, shall undergo simple imprisonment for a period of one (01) month for the offence under Section 11 r/w 12 of POCSO Act, 2012 .
