No plausible explanation has been submitted by him. It is submitted that he joined the police station only on 11.11.2025 and took up the investigation in connection with Balasore Sadar P.S. Case No.234 of 2020 on 12.02.2026. A written instruction has also been submitted by Mr. Murmu. However, there is absolutely no explanation in the written instruction with regard to the delay in investigation. 3. Accordingly, the S.P., Balasore is directed to furnish an affidavit, upon examination of the entire case, as to why appropriate action, as deemed fit, shall not be initiated against the contemnor, to be placed by the next sitting of this Bench.
